L, male, 28 years old, left hip and leg pain, no history of trauma, his condition gradually worsened and become persistent bilateral flank pain, pain behind the left thigh, calf lateral pain, in the hospital for diagnosis: sciatica. A variety of treatment ineffective.

Clinical examination: a spinal deformity, straight legs bending test, hand fingertip 50 cm from the ground, straight leg extension waist test, be restricted, straight-leg raising test: 55 left, 70 right, bilateral waist L3, L2 tenderness , highly sensitive point in tenderness in epithelial gluteal nerve, the sciatic nerve exports, thigh roots. To the left first, after the bilateral iliac within the margin of moderate sensitive. X-ray negative, the diagnosis: Spinal of soft tissue damage, with lower extremity pain. Sciatica is not correct diagnosis.

Treatment: zak acupuncture
Results: After a period of treatment, the patients symptoms disappeared.
