Z, male, 36 years old, 12 years ago, right hip pain, the hospital was diagnosed as: piriformis syndrome, a hospital Piriformis cut off surgery, postoperative, and right leg pain disappeared, but still right hip had mild pain, began last year in the left hip pain, and radiation to the back of the thigh, knee lateral, with cramps phenomenon, increasing symptoms, the patient is unable work,after the hospital for an examination, the diagnosis remains: Piriformis integrated disease, came to my out-patient treatment to the patients.

Clinical examination: a spinal deformity appearance, straight legs bending test negative, straight leg extension waist test leads to the left hip pain, straight-leg raising test are 60 °, and leads to lower limb pain. Many of the waist and hips are highly sensitive point of tenderness, despite Piriformis has been removed but is still in the right piriformis exports area tenderness. Consider piriformis the surrounding soft tissue injury is the cause of pain. Suitable for the use of zak acupuncture

Treatment: zak acupuncture
RESULTS: After treatment, hip pain disappeared, back to work
